Know Your Materials
925 Sterling Silver
24K Gold Vermeil (4 Microns)
10K Solid Gold
- 92.5% pure silver + copper alloy
- Nickel-free & skin-friendly
- Finished with a protective lacquer layer
more info...
Pure silver is naturally soft, so we alloy it with copper for strength. We avoid nickel and zinc, which can irritate sensitive skin.
Instead of rhodium plating, our sterling silver is finished with a transparent protective lacquer that helps preserve its shine and slow down tarnishing. Unlike rhodium plating, this coating does not chip or wear unevenly, allowing the silver to age naturally and be easily polished back to its original finish over time.
How to clean it
- Thick 24K gold plating
- Solid sterling silver base
- More durable than standard gold plating
more info...
Blitzfab gold vermeil pieces are crafted using solid 925 sterling silver as the base, then plated with a thick layer of real 24K gold. With 4 microns of gold plating, this finish goes well beyond standard industry practices, where typical gold plating measures only 0.1–0.5 microns.
How to clean it
- Solid gold throughout
- More resistant to tarnish
- Ideal for everyday wear
more info...
10K gold is a solid gold alloy made with 41.7% pure gold, blended with other metals to increase strength and durability. Unlike plated or vermeil jewelry, 10K gold is solid all the way through, meaning its color and material will not wear off over time.

How to Clean Your Jewelry
For Sterling Silver
For Gold Vermeil
For 10K Gold
- Use a soft polishing cloth for smooth surfaces
- Gently rub—no pressure needed
- For detailed areas, use a silver-cleaning solution
- Avoid contact with gemstones
Silver naturally oxidizes over time—this is normal and reversible.
- Clean with a dry or slightly damp soft cloth
- Never use abrasive cleaners
- Avoid frequent polishing (it wears the gold layer)
- Mild soap + lukewarm water
- Dry thoroughly with a soft cloth
How to Store Your Jewelry
Airtight Bags
Best for silver & long-term storage
Limits exposure to air and moisture, significantly slowing tarnish — particularly important for sterling silver.
Box + Bag
Ideal for protected storage
Store pieces individually to avoid scratches while keeping them shielded from environmental exposure.
Jewelry Box
Everyday organization
Perfect for frequently worn pieces in dry environments. Use lined compartments to prevent friction and tangling.
Additional storage tips:
- Use soft pouches or lined boxes for daily-wear or frequently used pieces
- Avoid humid environments such as bathrooms
- Keep gold vermeil away from direct sunlight when not worn
Thoughtful storage is one of the simplest ways to extend the life of fine jewelry.
